Some of the processors I've worked with over the past thirty years...
The 6805 is an inexpensive, no thrills or frills microprocessor. Most, but not all the
instruction set of the other members of the 680x family. I have found these in many
devices, last year I was playing with a telemetry beacon based on one. It was being used to
send and receive FFSK data packets and had a 5watt UHF radio handset interfaced to it.
A good embedded device, worked well until a lorry drove over it, then it needed repair.
