SUN SPARCSTATION IPX

The SparcStation IPX is a bit faster than the IPC shown elsewhere in these pages. It has as standard a 40MHz sparc processor but can be fitted with a Weitek upgrade processor. (Weitek Power-UP)
I have had three of these systems on various parts of the network, and they work well as local DNs or mail servers once they've been filled with memory!

As you can see the case is very much like the IPC. And has the same connectors/ports on the back:-
SCSI2, AUI, Serial-A, Serial-B, Video, Kbd/Mouse, Audio.
The video is colour though, An improvement over the IPC's BW2.
